Puppy Weight Predictor is built with a privacy-first architecture. When you input your puppy's age, weight, breed, or parent information, calculations occur locally on your device. We do not require accounts, we do not collect personal identifying information (PII) to use our tools, and we never sell or rent your data to third-party data brokers.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Unlike many pet applications that require mandatory account registrations, phone numbers, or credit card details, Puppy Weight Predictor provides our calculations completely free and registration-free. We do not collect:
- Your name, physical address, or phone number.
- Your pet's official veterinary medical record numbers or microchip identifiers.
- Financial or credit card information.
2. Information Processed Locally vs. Automatically Collected
Client-Side Calculator Data: The values you enter into the Puppy Weight Predictor (such as puppy age in weeks, weight in lbs/kg, sex, breed, and parent weights) are processed directly inside your web browser via client-side JavaScript. This data is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Local Storage: We may use your browser's standard localStorage solely to remember your preferred measurement units (e.g., Imperial lbs vs. Metric kg) across visits for your convenience.
Standard Web Server Logs & Anonymous Telemetry: Like virtually all websites, our hosting infrastructure may record standard anonymous diagnostic logs including your IP address (anonymized), browser type, referring URL, operating system, and timestamp. This data is used strictly for server health, DDoS prevention, and security auditing.
3. Cookies and Analytics
We may utilize privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand aggregate website performance (e.g., page views, popular breed lookups, and load times). Cookies used on this site are strictly technical or aggregated performance cookies. We do not use intrusive cross-site behavioral tracking cookies.
