Methodology
Predictions combine veterinary growth-curve data (Salt et al., 2017, PLOS ONE โ growth standard charts from millions of vet records), the breed's AKC weight range, and optional parent weights. The growth curve takes priority as the puppy gets older; breed and parent data anchor young puppies.
Most accurate for purebred dogs 12 weeks and older. Estimates are not a guarantee.
